Off Squarespace, onto his own domain, with every article he ever wrote still intact
A dog trainer's Squarespace site became a 52-page site on his own domain: his schedule still comes from the calendar he already uses, his 26 journal posts moved over word for word, and every old link redirects. Live October 13, 2026.

Real screenshots of the live site, captured October 2026.

Jason Greene trains dogs at The Barn in Valparaiso: group sessions, semi-private sessions, and police K9 work on request. Stability, control, obedience. He had a Squarespace site with a lot of good writing on it, a calendar he updates from his phone, and a domain that pointed at Squarespace's servers.
He did not need a new voice. He needed a site that loads fast, ranks for the towns his clients drive in from, and keeps working the way he already works, without retyping anything.

01Keep what he writes, change what carries it
The new site is black with the neon green from his logo as the one action color. Six program pages, six town pages with drive times to The Barn, a rates page, videos, and his Core Journey from 2014 to The Barn on the about page, word for word from the document he sent. His 26 journal articles came across exactly as written, with an SEO layer around them (titles, excerpts, headings, closing links) and nothing changed inside his sentences.
02His calendar is still his calendar
Jason edits his schedule in the Squarespace app and that was not going to change. The new site reads that calendar every five minutes and publishes the upcoming group and semi-private sessions with event schema, falling back to the saved list if the feed ever stops. His Squarespace plan stays on for exactly that reason. New journal posts he writes there show up on the new site within minutes too.
03Launch, the DNS way
greenedogllc.com was pointed at the new site on October 13, 2026 by changing two DNS records at Squarespace. Every old Squarespace page address permanently redirects to its new home. The contact form opens the visitor's mail app addressed to Jason and drops a copy into SIGIL's leads inbox, so nothing goes missing. A photo Jason did not want on the site came down the same day he asked; a photo he loves, Deacon leaping off a boulder into a Montana river, got its own section on the home page.
Actual posts and pages from the engagement, untouched.

- 01Never retype the owner's writing. Carry it over exactly and build the SEO around it.
- 02Keep the tools the owner already uses. His calendar app did not change; the site adapted to it.
- 03A launch is two DNS records and a list of redirects, not a rebuild of his habits.
